Niki Bánffy-Nesbitt
Niki Bánffy-Nesbitt is an East-Bay, self-taught artist who has worked out of her Oakland studio in Jack London Square for seventeen years.
She has been included in several shows around Berkeley and Oakland.
Additionally, Niki has practiced Buddhism for 35 years. She began her Buddhist path in the Zen community in San Francisco. She later migrated towards Vajrayana in the East Bay and beyond.
Now that both her art and Buddhism have settled into intentional, co-emerging practices, rather than singularly studying Buddhist art, she is creating it for herself.
